The Small School Districts’ Association recently awarded Senator John Laird as the 2022 Legislator of the Year. The ceremony took place during the SSDA CBO/Fiscal Leadership Conference and recognized the senator for his consistent support and advocacy for children attending California’s small and rural school districts.
