Carlsbad schools will be getting a makeover over the next three years, as the district launches the first phase of projects under its $265 million school bond proposal, Measure HH. The bond measure, which passed in November with the approval of 62.5 percent of Carlsbad voters, will fund upgrades to some of the oldest elementary schools, finish modernization of Carlsbad High, and add campus security features to all sites.
