Preventing the Next School Shooting

Published by the San Diego County District Attorney’s office, Law Enforcement Quarterly has just released a report on a protocol for preventing school shooting incidents. The cover story begins on page 16 with input from various law enforcement agencies, mental health professionals, prosecutors, school safety coordinators, and the San Diego County Office of Education. The report includes a School Threat Protocol, drafted with a multi-disciplinary lens focusing on prevention.
