Funds available, State Water Board’s Drinking Water for Schools grant

Funding is still available for the $9.5 million allocated to the Drinking Water for Schools Grant Program. The program provides grant funds to improve access to, and the quality of, drinking water in public schools. Eligible applicants include a single school, entire School District, or a County Office of Education applying for multiple Districts in their jurisdiction. The minimum grant amount is $25,000, the maximum grant amount per school is $100,000, and the maximum grant amount is $1,000,000 per eligible entity (multiple schools can be included in a single application). Technical Assistance is also available for eligible applicants.
